This pub is much improved in the last 6 months since they renovated the inside and made a push to promote food. I've been here a handful of times in recent months and it's been good. The food is priced at £5 for a starter and £10-15 for a main course. Would recommend you try this pub again it's you've not been in the last year. Greg. - 30 Apr 2010 15:06

My family and I had the misfortune to eat at this pub yesterday 10/02/08.Our group was made up with 5 adults and a baby. Two of us had the Roast, one had the Steak & Kidney pie,one had a vegetarian choice and one had plaice filet. The vegetables although fresh were overcooked and minute portions. My main critiscm was the plaice. Was it grilled or poached?. More cooked in a microwave with no seasoning whatso ever. The plaice was 'presented' complete with black skin.Insipid both in taste and appearance it looked more like a meal for a recovering patient at the local Lister Hospital. The bill which included 2 bottles of wine and a soft drink came to £92. Complete and utter waste of money. Service was good though with a very helpful waitress. Shame about the 'chef'. Should have complained at the time but a family member had recommended the pub so I felt it necessary to do nothing. No way would I go back. Dollyhat - 11 Feb 2008 20:42
Really good traditional pub. Would be proud if i owned this place so well done to Gary. Good fresh food and a good pint of Stella. Just wished they had brought the Touchscreen till system from me! Gave it a 9 cos I have to get home so am limited to a quick beer only....probably good I don't live in Graveley...it might make me skint! garycollins - 6 Apr 2006 10:41
An excellent pub. Decent Greene King beer, with good value home cooked food. Friendly service too. truckosaurus - 1 Dec 2004 13:22
