| On holiday for a week in the area and friends had raved about this place but sorry to say we found the food was mediocre and service very poor with our guest not receiving a meal until the rest of us had finished. Overall nice place, good atmosphere but sloppy delivery. tilla - 3 Nov 2010 23:46 |

| I like The Bear. It has a cosy bar (especially in winter) and a nice atmosphere. They are dog friendly too. I usually enjoy a pint and a bite to eat there, after walking the mutts on Cowbridge Downs. The beers are all well kept and the food is quite nice, reasonable too!
