Had Lunch here today with Business associate. The food was outstanding. From what ive heard it is the Owners Son who is the chef at this establishment. Got to be one of the best meals i have had in a long time. Been to some top restaraunts that couldnt live up to this standard. Well done to the chef and im sure he will have a bright career in front of him. The beer was good too and the friendly service was excelent.

I Have been out of the area for the last 2 to 3 years, Working in and around the country, and recently moved back to Haworth, and the Kings Arms as always been one of my favourite pubs in the Village. I will admit and be fair the a couple of years ago the owners of which i know of, but dont know personally took on some other pubs in the area and left the Kings Arms in the Hands of a Manager and the pub went Slightly down hill but it is back on top form now!. It was nice last week to walk into the Kings Arms and be greeted with a huge smile and hello from the owners again. They do do Karaoke on A friday, they also have live music on a thirsday and a quiz on a Sunday evening so WHAT to all u that dnt like it, there is no reason to slate the business for earning a living and trying new avenues! (especially now the smoking ban is here) Now ive had a slight rant, i would like to say that the beer is on top form and they are obviously sticking to the Cask Marquee standards, and speaking with locals they say its the best pint in Haworth. And recently the kitchen was taken over by the owners Son Michael, who is serving up great meals with a high quality standard and taking pride in what he does, and i believe from reading a local magazine article he has been put foreward for an award! well from what ive seen and also tasted last friday! Good luck Michael the prize is already yours! A great Pub and well worth A visit!

On my last visit the staff were friendly but visibly embarrassed by a table full of very loud, very drunk locals. Nothing wrong with getting hammered, but this lot were a pain in the arse. A better landlord would have kicked them out. I can honestly say I've never had an enjoyable night here.

OK, this was a year ago, but it hasn't encouraged me to go back. There are better places nearby (but not The Sun or The Black Bull).
