| Reviews so far sum up this place pretty well. Despite being within a pea roll of the Quayside it always feels underpopulated and apart from the pool table has precious little to write home about. Nothing, I mean. The sort of place that leaves a group of previously happy friends staring into their pints and contemplating their debt. But this is all nothing as compared to the adjacent Wig and Pen. What a strange, lifeless place that is. | It has a pool table and odd painting of Shearer on the wall. Spend an hour or so in there watching the footy results come in but doubt I'll ever go back. Beer is ok... but all in all quite bland bondr - 2 May 2005 17:35 |
