Well well well… This wont be a easy review. OK You ready… The white hart is one of the only pubs in the part of north Hanwell, This might be one of the only beneficial things so far in this review. It has quite a history, muders, fights, travellers, wanna be hardmen , real nasty people, drugs, berak in’s, attempted rape, spiked drinks… I really could go on and sadly these are facts as said before GOOGLE can back me up here. That was the past. They refurbished the interior of the pub, made it a bit more wider and brighter, the place itself is strange. Now rather then giving you a full on review like a usually do I will give you my last experience there. I’m a football fan, I wanted to see a football game, NOW I don’t go there often as I don’t want to get my head kicked in. I had 7quid for beer and was going to go to the off licence but thought NAH I’ll go watch the first half in the pub! it’s the only one near so … in I went.. 530pm. I was greeted with posters that read Drug use and supply will not be tolerated Followed by it's a criminal offence to carry a knife or weapon, under section 139 of the criminal justice act 1988, ... No, the law does not allow you to carry a knife or other weapon for self-defence. The two posters was slashed oh boy, I thought. Well it was ok not very friendly at all, But that’s ok I wasn’t after a nice comfy chat I wanted a pint and some footie on tv. Well I got a pint of poor pisswater….. Well it was ment to be Carlsberg the 3.4% one, I hate to sound strange but the pint was pongy just ponged major ass. The PINT just had a bad bad smell. I really wanted to lean over and say what is this shit but I just was being carful as a few of the locals was giving the long haired werido the look of shhhhhhh… don’t complaine look. So I didn’t, WELL anyway it cost around 3.80 apint might have been 3.60 but either way not cheep and not very nice. I saw some young kids just playing pool with there dad. Advice the pool table is for locals, I wouldn’t try it. Now I don’t think it’s a bad pub 100% years ago it was very dangoures soadly murder and drugs was a hotspot here. Today its still a rough pub, to give you a rough idea, it’s the only pub inbetween two rough estates, that’s coply close (which aint so bad now I guess) and the white flats. I’d say might be a laugh if your with the right people, the TV is always on so good sports are shown and there 3 tellys around, there a jukebox and a garden. I wouldn’t say the worst pub. The ONLY pub in that part of hanwell YES, the worst in London I doubt it. I think the lines and beers need more cleaning, I think its pretty rough still, I’d say I’d only go there if I wasn’t well and wanted out for an hour rather then trecking….. But I dunno. Chavy is the only real word for it. AliceDraven - 14 Mar 2011 20:54
With regards to the last comment, The White Hart is as much a family pub as it is a quaint country inn with a glowing fire and a cute dog curled up in front of it. I would rather take my family to Iraq than here. If you don't believe me, Google this pub and see what stories come up..... Hanwale - 9 Mar 2011 14:13
What a turnaround! For years this pub has been a place to avoid, but new management seem to have made some great changes. New furniture, out with the trouble makers and a good food menu. Definitely a good family atmosphere now, with music and quizes, etc going on most nights. Welcoming family atmosphere - totally different from how it used to be. ClaireBecket80 - 8 Sep 2010 13:55
not only is this a s**t hole it is a very expensive s**t hole full of retards and wannabe bank robbers pgriffin70 - 26 Aug 2010 21:30
Only for the brave. Despite the barman being friendly (maybe a little too friendly) there pervades an atmosphere of it all just about to kick off - this despite there only being a handful of people in of a weekday evening. A local pub, and only worth a venture if you are local. simonjolty - 9 Jul 2010 23:46
