It used to be the place to see loads of bikes pared outside on a satufrday night (I was one of them) and there were tales of the manager parking his bike in the bar, but the biker bar seems to have died a bit, and the clientelle have mostly drifted on. Shame.

hmmm, was here last nite, and its safe to say that if you enjoy drinking with tramps and destitutes then this is the place to be.

i don't.

fucking binidippers slouched everywhere scroungeing for tabs, drinks and loose change. still, makes ye realise if nothing else that your own life is'nt really that bad and salvation really does'nt lie at the bottom of a pint glass - not that you'd be easily pushed telling most of this crowd that.

on the plus side however, the tramps do provide entertainment of sorts and the pool is a goodun, tho overly pricey at a pound a go, and thats about it really.

a 3 it is then then for lack of effort!

'smoke on the water, a fire in the sky'. Any further comments needed?
Oh they sold a lot of snakebite when I was in, in fact I'm sure they advertised a 'cocktail'called a 'Castrol', which was snakebite with someting green dropped in it-could have been creme de menthe, I didn't stick around to find out!

Prefer the old version when you had an array of expensive bikes parked outside that no-one dared touch. Now it's just another bar to avoid on the fast fading Haymarket circuit along with the Goose and the Three Bulls. Thank God for the Hottie.

Great music and atmosphere. Rough around the edges, but always good to see that regular guy with the afro loitering at the bar. Lots of spit and a little sawdust.
