| I visited this pub 2 weeks ago and as usual it was very busy. However, this pub charged £3:40 for a pint of Tanglefoot and that is outrageous even by todays high prices!! I know its in Surrey and its in Yuppie country but I will not be going in there again. So if you are in that area, go a little further North to the Surrey Oaks and find a good selection of real ale at 50p a pint less and a nicer pub as well.. John_M - 8 Aug 2008 09:37 |

| Nice pub with cracking facilities for kids. The food is great and home cooked. Unfortunately the larger served is "Hofbrau" (something similar to horse ****)and is a bit expensive. beermonster1984 - 21 Apr 2008 21:27 |
| Eight of us went for a stroll on Good Friday morning and phoned mid-stroll at 11am to reserve a table for lunch at 12.30. We arrived, were made welcome, served drinks and had our food orders taken. All this was done smoothly and efficiently. Despite the pub being busy, the food arrived in a commendably short time. The portions were generous, well presented, nourishing, tasty and, compared to some pubs we have visited recently, good value for money. We were replete by the time we finished the main course and, remarkably for us, couldn't manage the puddings. All in all, an excellent dining experience. The manager and staff are to be commended. | I recently visited the Six Bells and it is so refreshing going to a public house where the food portions are generous, freshly home cooked, well priced and absolutely delicious. I received a lovely welcoming from the lady behind the bar and the service was prompt. This public house has alot to offer and is well worth a visit. Surely investing in energy efficient light bulbs is a positive point and should not be put down, eco-friendly......save the planet????? firecracker980 - 18 Mar 2008 22:53 |
