My 2nd visit here. Must go again when its not February and cold. Weapons of choice this visit were Badger and Sussex both perfect. You do wait a while, but not excessively long, for food which is pretty good. Jazz singer/band and good pudds this Valentine's day. My 2 friends thoroughly enjoyed their roast guinea fowl and sausage and mash. Friendly staff at bar and table. I was pestered by the cat, as I was in its chair I think, but this adds to the relaxed atmosphere.

Location : Very Good
Parking: Very Good
Beer: Selection and service good, Price above average compared to others in the area.
Atmosphere: Good
Food: The selection is good but the service and quality are poor. We booked for 10, they knew we where coming, There was only one other table of people in the pub, but still it took over 30 minutes to serve food to the first of our group and a further 20 minutes for the final 3 to be served and then the sausages where still frozen inside.
Would I go there again for a beer? Yes
Would I go there again for a meal? NO

The Tanglefoot and a drop of malt warmed my party up on a cold snowy day. Friendly landlady, but waited a bit long for food, probably due to 20+ group of walkers who got in their order before us. However the Roasts and mushroom strog were rated highly by my table.

I visited this pub 2 weeks ago and as usual it was very busy. However, this pub charged £3:40 for a pint of Tanglefoot and that is outrageous even by todays high prices!! I know its in Surrey and its in Yuppie country but I will not be going in there again. So if you are in that area, go a little further North to the Surrey Oaks and find a good selection of real ale at 50p a pint less and a nicer pub as well..
