| The Rose & Crown is now under new management and is being run by a local couple determined to make the pub a success and nice place to eat and drink for both locals and visitors to Lytchett Matravers. The pub has been completely refurbished - inside and out with a tasteful warm decoration. A new traditional menu is being served 7 days a week at good affordable prices. With the new smoking ban on the arisen, Jenny & Fred have decided to make it a non smoking pub with a shelter outside for smokers. | I agree - I used to use this pub when camping in the area and the food use to be great. I went there a couple of months ago and found it under new (bad) management.
