Came to see my brother that lives in ifield & he took us to this pub for a bite to eat
We was sitting down eating when at the bar was a group of men loughing so loud & using the F word every 5 min ,I could not beleave it when I asked to see the land lord & he was one of the group & to top it of the food came out stone cold, Never again would I go there so please think twice before booking

It's easy to forget that this pub is in Crawley. Way out on the edge of town approaching the countryside and set by the 13th C. Ifield Church. A fair sized pub with sun terrace out front. Hall & Wodehouse Beers which are well kept. A decent pub and usually fairly busy.

Always seems full with most people eating which is a good sign. I've had no problems with the food or beer, always good, service friendly and quick. Nice location for the outskirts of Crawley. We go there regularly.

i took my wife to this pub on sunday 30 may 2010 as it looked such a quaint little place .when i was at the bar ordering drinks all i could hear was a customer using the F word over and over .the chap behind the bar did not seem bothered .we went outside as it was a sunny day only to hear more and louder F words .there were a lot of older people there that looked shocked ...NEVER AGAIN

We like this pub as it is so like a typical english village pub. The beer was very nice and well looked after. The staff were very friendly and attentive
