| This pub is now closed and empty. Which is probbly for the best. BeerEnthusiast - 8 Mar 2011 09:58 |
| This pub used to be fantastic. It was a great local where you could go and enjoy a pint in a nice cosy place. now, on the couple of occasions i have visited I have honestly feared for my wife and my own safety. The youngsters in there all seem to be very aggressive and the language is far from great. The drinks are poor even if only hall and woodhouse product, the beer just didn't taste right (i don't know if the lines have been cleaned recently). The landlady also seems very dissinterested and seemed to be attached to her mobile phone constantly on both visits i made. there is none of the old atmoshphere which has been replaced with uneasiness. It is a real shame this pub has gone so far downhill, I shall not be going back. localboy54 - 7 Jan 2011 10:02 |
