| very nice pub for all ages, very friendly sociable landlord/landlady.Dont get any trouble at all due to the landlord having some guts and turning this pub into a nice place.Friendly polite barstaff who are always eager to serve.But above all the beer is spot on,you won't find a nicer pint of Tetley's anwhere and the landlord takes great pride in knowing this. redline123 - 5 Dec 2007 21:58 |
| Was my local when I lived up at Handsworth. Good jukebox and a decent pint. Can get a bit intimidating at weekends. Easy to get into a scrap there. If you wanted, of course. Or, sometimes, even if you didn't. Tasty birds behind the bar, mind. Dame - 31 Jul 2006 18:57 |
