| This hostelry was not on the set route of a pub crawl of Bath on Friday 03 Dec 2010 but became an inbetweener, what a mistake! The landlady was nothing short of a complete c#nt and not only tried to ruin a good day out at her premises (OK I can take it on the chin and be nice - December - heard of heating??????????) but seemed on a mission to call ever public house in Bath. | Best pub in the south west for atmosphere. Staff and regulars are friendly. I would agree that the Midland was a better name though. Also I would reccomend an open mind and at least 6 pints BEFORE entering. wilts99 - 25 Oct 2008 22:18 |
| Oh yes, forgot to mention, they have a karaoke night, even when a big footy game is on TV. They turn the TV volume down and you are forced to watch it while listening to drunk locals from Rosewell Court across the road singing awful renditions of Tina Turner and Michael Bolton! mattbeer - 20 Oct 2008 17:32 |
| They used to sell Marstons Pedigree but don't anymore. In fact they have no bitters or ales apart from disgusting John Smiths. Gets busy when football is on Sky and attracts lots of students. Large beer garden/car park. mattbeer - 10 Aug 2008 18:51 |
