They used to sell Marstons Pedigree but don't anymore. In fact they have no bitters or ales apart from disgusting John Smiths. Gets busy when football is on Sky and attracts lots of students. Large beer garden/car park. mattbeer - 10 Aug 2008 18:51
Recently called the metroplitan but it retains the soul of the midland my advice is to call a priest and do the Bell, Book and Candle routine. HaggisBasher - 25 Apr 2007 08:11
Just OK. Layout has changed for the better with the removal of the pool table from front room since its conversion to Metropolitan. Dont like the new signs though, as per all Eldridge pope pubs. Why change the name from something significant (old Green Park Station, with trains to the midlands is just over the road) to something meaningless? So you can make a cheap and tacky joke with the sign?!? lg06111985 - 3 Aug 2006 22:15
now renamed The Metropolitan. apa - 27 Apr 2006 13:38
Quite a local pub, and quite an experience on a Friday night, hence would approach with caution. The GP - 11 Aug 2004 15:47
