Has some reasonable ales but with raucous gangs inside and bouncers on the door starting late afternoon, this is more a circuit pub than somewhere to drop in for a pint.

Now reopened as a BREWPUB called The Bath Brew House. Sells three of four of their own beers (James Street Brewery) and a similar amount from other breweries. Excellent range and quality. Highly recommended.

This hostelry was not on the set route of a pub crawl of Bath on Friday 03 Dec 2010 but became an inbetweener, what a mistake! The landlady was nothing short of a complete c#nt and not only tried to ruin a good day out at her premises (OK I can take it on the chin and be nice - December - heard of heating??????????) but seemed on a mission to call ever public house in Bath.
Luckily, other landlords formed their own opinion but if you don't want the agrivation fotget the Midland the landlady really is a complete c#nt!

Poor beer selection. Not much ambiance. There is some seating in the car park. And a big screen to watch the footy. All in all there are much better pubs in Bath.
