Once a buzzing kick-arse pub with bar-staff that must have slept with every tramp that walked through its doors (remember Caroline & Tara?) but it has seriously gone downhill in the past 10 years. I was in there recently one saturday and there was hardly any people inside, no atmosphere nor music. Whatever happened to the friday/saturday night fights, the ear-piercing karaoke squealers that thought they could sing, the big, bulldog bouncers & the ugly slappers? Perhaps they all killed eachother or went down with some nasty STD.

Good this brings back some memories - years since iv been in there (Thankfully)the only place in the world where the bouncers (The big goatee bearded thick mongrel who had his own tattoo parlour and had moronic tattoos on the back of his thick concrete head) would hide/hold on to a knife for one of their mates incase he got into a bit of bother!.

Many a drunken night spent in here on the karaoke only to be stopped mid song as the inevitable sound of a glass or a bar stole being wrapped around some innocent persons head by the usual chav element, had many a one night stand with the numerous slag dogs on offer in there and once one a bet of £20 with one of my mates for kissing the ugliest hound I think Iv ever seen (Not sure if thats the dog a previous poster meant, but given the choice again - Id take the alsation).Saw THE Biggest fight EVER in this pub where a gypsy had a some blade on an electric cable (Unplugged obviously as it happened in the car park) whacked into his head over and over again and him still managing to scream something like "so its durty your wantin' to fight is it yee English cunt"

I do not miss this place !
