| My family and I used to enjoy eating at the Royal Oak. However, we went for a meal with friends in December (our first since it had been taken over by new owners) and were very disappointed. The meal was underwhelming to say the least. Most of us had the steaks which were poorly presented and although mine was ok, my sister in-laws was mostly fat. It was presented with a few chips and onion rings...nothing green at all...no salad or veg. Another friend had the £9.95 pasta, which was overpriced and again underwhelming. It's a shame as we won't be going back. Hopefully they'll take the comments on board as we've spoken to several people who were disappointed with their meal there and won't be going again. kerrvi - 29 Jan 2008 08:42 |
