| I had heard a lot about the Paget, and was looking forward to my visit. I tried to enjoy the beer, but the condition was distinctly average. I like my paler ales, which was good as this was all they had on my visit. The person I went with likes more traditional beers, of which they had none. I feel a good real ale pub should have a range of beers, so I'm in no rush to return. The staff didn't seem to know much about the beer aside from that they sold a lot of Sunchaser to students. The place itself seems quite nice, a little shabby perhaps. I imagine it is pleasant in summertime with the outdoor space with Games machines. As above, it's located in the golden triangle for students. I'm fine with there being lots of students but from my experience this shouldn't mean below par beer. DaveSpoon - 22 Nov 2011 17:58 |

| Spot on Boozer. Great range of ales, very friendly, good atmosphere, lovely barstaff, good banter, a great place to spend the afternoon/evening. We spent best part of 5 hours there but could easily have managed an alldayer. Dylarolla - 26 Oct 2010 13:09 |
