Fairly large, multi-roomed Everards pub on one of the main roads into Leicester city centre. It seemed fairly popular with diners and families and had a number of strange features to view, including a tower of wine bottles and some kind of character from Star Wars or something similar! Beers on were Hydes Fine & Dandy, Ironbridge 48 Special West Coast IPA, Titanic Ale Over, Everards Tiger, Beacon, Original & Sunchaser plus Gwynt y Ddraig Black Dragon cider. A fairly good pub.

Summer is when this pub really comes into its own, with a huge and popular beer garden. Had the Everards range on, as well as the seasonal guest and Ushers Bishops Tipple. A good mix of people.

A decent everards pub, with normally an ok guest ale or two. Beer festivals are good fun. Quirky interior with plenty of stuff to look at! But the main draw is the MASSIVE garden (with a tardis. and barn owls- you read that correctly!) Great place to go on a sunny day and sit and drink some nice beer.

Popped down here for the recent "Beer Hunter" festival and had a very decent time of it, despite the slightly cool weather conditions meaning we spent most of the time inside and not out in the (HUGE) beer garden...

Beer selection was perhaps not the most adventurous for a festival, but the prices were reasonable and the condition was good.

All beers were dispensed from outside stillage, with the exception of festy special 'Old Hearse' (Brunswick), which was on draught from main bar.

Good selection of food was on offer, including burgers and hog roast plus regular pub menu.

As usual, service was very friendly and the session passed very pleasantly.

Also worth mentioning was the very good value of fest glasses and t-shirts - very good to see!

Will look forward to next years event...
