| Fantastic pub! Very clean, well kept and the beer is excellent. The landlords (Joan & Brian) are lovely people and very welcoming - they've been living in the pub for 15 years! Bar staff are all young, friendly people too. The locals are a cheery bunch and a mix of all ages from 18 to 80! There's two dartboards, large car park and nice beer garden with an 8-lane well-maintained Petanque court. Probably not the pub for you if you like a wide range of real ales though, as they only have Everards' own bitters on usually- although they're nice themselves! Children are not allowed at the bar at ANY time and all under-16s must be off the premises by 20:30, which I think is reasonable. Dogs are always very welcome. The only time they serve food is Sunday lunch, and they prefer if you ring first to book it as space can be limited due to popularity!
