| Service generally ok and an above average menu with all the usual pub grub plus some nice specials. Great garden for families but a running theme seems to be dog mess from the pub dogs which foul just about anywhere in the garden. | Visited the pub last week for a meal. I am sorry to say we were very disappointed. One bit of steak that was not cooked correctly, few chips and peas. Not very good at all. | I often use the pub as a stop off point when driving between the peak district and London, the beer is spot on and the food is outstanding. The Licensee is relatively new to the pub, but he and his wife are both very welcoming. Highly recommended. alanbloodywilson - 27 Jul 2007 16:03 |
