| Myself and 6 friends had a wonderful walk on Sunday 1st August. Leaving our cars in the car park and having booked our lunch reservation we set off. The loos are always open even if the pub is not for convenience! Lovely. We arrived back to be met by the very welcoming landlady and her staff. Drinks order taken immediately and menus brought. The food was truly outstanding. We all had different dishes and it was faultless. The menu has something for everyone, but most importantly they have managed to get everything right. | Had a large party meeting for lunch - they were able to not only give us a table big enough, but served us all at the same time. The food is good, and Steak Mondays (�10 for any steak with chips and vegetables) excellent value. Puddings are huge. Small but good selection of beers.
