Visited in March (bit slow on updating my reviews!) - this is a nice traditional boozer. There were not many people in there this Sunday lunchtime. Friendly landlord, nice layout, I had a few pints of a Hydes of Manchester seasonal beer in good condition.

There is another pub directly opposite! 7/10.

Went here for a Sunday Lunch just after Christmas. Although the Ale was as good as ever, the old adage ' familiarity breeds contempt ' springs to mind. Won't be returning anytime soon.

Friendly staff and pretty good food (Sunday Roast) the vegetarian nut roast was also rated highly by the 3 vegetarians in the group. There was (see other review) a smell of fried food / chip fat when we went in but it wasn't too bad.
