Having heard from a friend about the daytime carvery I thought I'd try as my work lunch break is only an hour which I did and I found the interior was pleasent, staff were smartly dressed I didn't have too wait too long to be served either and after picking what I wanted from the carvery "beef stroganoff" I sat down next to the fire listening to the sound of jamie cullum coming of the speakers really enjoying the atmosphere, needless to say the food was excellent & I now spend every lunch break there I recomend to anyone.

I like the Coach and Four as a pub. However, although the lunchtime carvery was perfectly edible, it was disappointing and reminiscent of school meals. Could do better.

Well run large Hydes house, with, I thought, particularly good beer (Original). Very busy on a Thursday, which might relect football on TV as the decent looking curry deals weren't doing great business.

Fair sized town centre pub serving grub. Usually pretty busy, and was done up a few years ago, probably due another do up now. Beer is ok (Hydes I think). Next door to Sainsbury's, so good for taking your mind off the shopping.
