| Fair sized town centre pub serving grub. Usually pretty busy, and was done up a few years ago, probably due another do up now. Beer is ok (Hydes I think). Next door to Sainsbury's, so good for taking your mind off the shopping. Juanfortheroad - 29 Sep 2008 22:03 |

| I am a local and have been for about ten years, i went for a meal on Saturday night (18:00)at the coach and four and it was the worst meal i have every eaten. I ordered the steak and asked for it rare, it came burnt to a crisp so i sent it back. The chief then sent me a RAW steak practically screaming food poising at me. Also the "rustic chips" had been double fried and the veg reheated. Out of a part of 6, five of us were unhappy. To improve they need to get a new chief and improve their bar service. | Wasn't good last time I was in there early 2007. Aged landlady with midriff hanging out and general withdrawal of previous quite good standards food and services built up by previous manager.
