| Tried this pub after the Motor hoose. It is a bigger place (busier) with a large food menu. It burnt down a few years ago, so as you can imagine, very limited in character. I was told this is the best pub in Kirkwall- nothing special. scotscott - 24 Sep 2010 10:24 |

| Visited it a couple of years ago before the fire and now again - and I'm happy to say it's unchanged in atmosphere and quality. One or two snuglike area's where locals meet and further seating next to the bar. Do try the food - they have a chef who combines tradition and innovation in a thrilling way.
