| Not a bad pub, although no cider on draught, or card transactions (so cash only), and if you go outside for smoking, guard your drink. Great fire, but my partner felt it was a bit too scruffy, and that wasn't the decor. scotscott - 24 Sep 2010 11:09 |
| Not a bad little pub. Obviously been refurbed quite recently. Only one real ale on when we visited but well kept. Unfortunately our visit was spoilt by a drunken chav 'celebrating' his birthday or would mark this place higher. undeaded - 31 Aug 2010 23:36 |

| Had a fairly recent lick of paint, so a little of the 'olde worlde' feel has gone, but still the best bar in Stromness by far. Always the busiest, with friendly, professional bar staff and well kept beverages. The open fire in the winter is awesome! awooga - 7 Jan 2009 13:37 |
