user reviews of the Greyhound Inn, Saughall

Great pub with very friendly landlord and very pleasant and helpful staff. Meals are 1st class and the choice and range of ales is excellent. One minor point, the real ales tend to be chilled which means that you don't get to appreciate the full taste.

Don't very often rate a pub 10 out of 10 but this is a top quality pub where the menu and food is absolute top quality and the ale even better. Faultless.

The Greyhound is an excellent family pub, well managed serving good, well kept beer and excellent food. It has themed nights such as Monday ( Curry Night ) and they do some mighty hot curries. I personally enjoy having a meal out at this pub ,the Menu in my view is comprehensive and the food wonderful. But why take my view just try it!. You will be suprised.

One of the best pubs around. Friendly staff, great beers and easily one of the nicest places I've ever been drunk in!!

Super village pub (one of three pubs in Saughall, John), great food, and the landlord cares about the beers (usually four ales, some from local breweries). Should be in the Good Beer Guide.
