| Where do i start ....decided to go there with my family for fathers day .Booked a table of 7 .After being seated we were given 2 menues between 7 ???.We orderded 3 breaded mushrooms for starter .I then asked for scampi and chips for my main , only to be told by the waitress..we are only serving roast dinner ,and we do not have any beef left ..so that meant it was only chicken & pork . The mushrooms arrivied in a ceral dish with the dip in the middle ,after taking a bite ,I had so spit it out the middle was still frozed ...was the same with the others .We told the waitress who just looked at us puzzled , we decided we were not gonna eat here ,the manager came over and we told here we were leaving ..HER ANSWER WAS YOU CANT YOUR MAINS ARE READY !!!! .WORST FOOD IVE TASTED ..STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE ...SERVES NOTHING BUT FROZEN FOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!! .IVE RATED THIS ZERO ,IF ONLY I COULD PUT A -0 .... | Haven't visited this pub for about 45 years so was pleasantly surprised by the changes that had taken place. Nice pub with good beer (Old Speckled Hen, Abbott) and great bar meals although you can also eat in the restaurant.
