| Called in last night and asked for a pint of Guinness a glass of cider and a pint of diet coke. No cider so plummed for another pint of coke. One of the young ladies in our group upon returning from the loo asked the barman if she could have the ice taken out of the coke, which he promptly did. The level of the fluid fell to roughly half way down. We then asked for the glass to be 'Topped Up'. To our amazement he declined saying the ice was included in the measure. | This pub suceeds in being ludicrously expensive, and thoroughly lame at the same time. It has no soul whatsoever - even the music is pasteurised to death (bad MP3 encoding - trust me, I'm a producer). Do not, under any circumstances, waste your money here - clientele are so far up themselves its ridiculous, and the bar staff are all bottle-spinning wannabes. Andy - 9 Jun 2003 16:16 |
