| At last a pub thats open having cycled to the castle cary station from shepton mallet and the closest pub the Brook House Inn was shut.. Very large pub, quite a few locals loitering and drinking lager, dart board, large lounge and dining area. Choice of Youngs ales (as a Youngs pub) plus a few thatchers ciders on draft. | Nice traditional old pub.3 Real ales available were Youngs Bitter,St Austell Tribute And Wells Bombardier. Obviously one of the first signs of the Wells takeover could be seen with just the one youngs ale on tap.
