As of 20/12/2008, Sunday afternoon jazz is off again according to Jazz In London's website, late programme changes section... _grobag_ - 22 Dec 2008 12:38
Jazz is back on Sundays, 2-4pm and the band were excellent yesterday (and the Young's didn't run out although I did my best). oak_cliff - 24 Nov 2008 20:18
Don't bother - since new owners have taken over: 1. The beer runs out frequently (3 times in the last 5 I've been there) 2. The food has gone downhill - fast 3. The jazz on a Sunday afternoon has been stopped Staff very sloppy and atmosphere not very nice at all. Britbeerisbest - 26 Aug 2008 15:17
Not bad pub. As well as the jazz meet on Sunday I've see a chess club meet on a weekday. Ale is fine, and the canal side view is welcomed. Thankfully having 2 bars means you can get away from the noise of the TVs. thursdaynight - 19 Jul 2008 15:03
| What lifts this pub out of the ordinary is the location. Both bars are a bit drab and boring and normally I wouldn't give it a second try, but the canalside seating is lovely. I've spent several wonderful Sunday evenings getting outside a pint of Bombadier watching the boats, and the cyclists and the ducks go by. I'll let others enthuse on the food and the music.
