| Three of us paid a visit last Monday. Within in a minute we were included in a conversation with some very decent locals. The beer was very good, unfortunately the Caledonian 80 bob was off, but the Harvistoun Bitter and Twisted and Caledonian Octoberfest were great. Really friendly pub, great position, will return. | Fabulous bar food at realistic bar food prices. Much better than some of the pretentious over-priced places on the other side of the street. Great beer and a good atmosphere. bronxglenn - 5 Apr 2010 13:39 |

| A great little pub with good food. My last minutes as a single man were spent in there before I got married in the Registry Office across the road. Upon being told that my wife to be was from Argentina, the locals reacted by thanking her for the "Hand of God" (Maradona's hand balled goal against England in the World Cup). I always pay it a visit whenever I go to South Queensferry. Zaphod_Beeblebrox - 5 Mar 2006 02:10 |
