Handy for checking your emails after you've just got off the train. Although I know that shouldn't really be a criterion for judging the quality of a bar... Food and drinks are patchy, but service is pretty good - I've sent drinks back with no quibbling from them. It's a good place to take my London colleagues when they've come to Sheffield for a meeting. dry_riser_inlet - 27 Aug 2008 17:17
Expensive, with some nice Belgian beers but overpriced and variable food. Sometimes has DJs or live music on, but less often than in the past, and the quality also seems to have gone down. SheffieldMickey - 2 Mar 2008 23:55
A handy haven if you've just missed a train. Also a safe bet if you're an away fan wearing colours much disliked at Bramall Lane... theoriginalbeermunkeh - 26 May 2007 18:37
This is summed up well by dougald and is a decent city cente bar and is open later than most places too. The one thing letting it down is that the service can sometimes be incredibly slow - it's not nicknamed the Slowroom for nothing - even when it isn't that busy. Don't expect it to be cheap but it is still a good bar. anonymous - 18 Dec 2006 00:21
A bar rather than a pub, in the daytime it's full of people working on wifi or having meetings. At night the volume on the music goes up and it gets busier. You can't get a pint of bitter, but there's several decent (expensive!) Belgian beers. The food's good. dougald - 26 Oct 2006 19:45
