Voted Pub of the Year and well deserved. Visited yesterday - quite busy for the time of day. Doom Bar was excellent followed by an excellent meal - good value and fantastic quality. Well done Debbie & staff!

waggledance's review sums The Garibaldi up nicely.
I would like to add that they're very welcoming to my dog too, albeit outside which is fair enough. A bowl of water is always forthcoming without me having to ask . . . which is nice.

The pub is very welcoming with friendly staff who served me promptly. Gentle background music was not overpowering so I could still have a conversation with friends. The food was good pub grub - 'you get what it says on the menu' (highly recommend the liver in beetroot gravy if it is on the specials board) - Nothing too fancy but very filling and excellent value for money. I'm not a real ale drinker but my husband is and he was impressed with the selection, especially for a small local pub.
