| The pub is very welcoming with friendly staff who served me promptly. Gentle background music was not overpowering so I could still have a conversation with friends. The food was good pub grub - 'you get what it says on the menu' (highly recommend the liver in beetroot gravy if it is on the specials board) - Nothing too fancy but very filling and excellent value for money.
