I'd noticed the Dragon on our walk out of town. It looked like an interesting, but small pub from the outside. We returned on our way back to the centre. Inside, the pub stretches back a fair way to the next street. But it doesn't have too much character. The ale range was also disappointing compared with other Nottingham pubs we'd visited - Adnams Broadside, Castle Rock Harvest Pale, Oakham Citra & Black Sheep Best Bitter.

This pub was as i remembered it from before, long, narrow and dark but a good atmosphere. The Harvest Pale that i had was lacklustre and just a shadow of it's former self. It tasted much better in other pubs in town.

A quirky pub, seems small but sort of meanders around a bit over several levels. Probably not a middle aged tourist's venue, but the bar bloke was polite & the pint of Black Sheep (3.40) was satisfactory. Hardly any customers at lunch time on Sunday, but there was a carnival in the city square, the weather was fine & warm, which may have drawn the punters away.

Limited beer choice (3). Strange set up minside on different levels. Very dark. If anything, a bit too trendy

Reasonable ale though not a great selection (just Adnams brews) though it does feel like you are sititng in passageways or alcoves doesn't really have a proper pub feel to the place.
