| Used to be a pub to avoid. Now it has been turned around, it is very good indeed. A lot of effort has been put into offering excellent beer, always something from smaller independants including the new Horwich brewed "Black Edge" beer. A pub that deserves support. Redwing - 12 Sep 2011 19:53 |

| Deserves to be a lot busier than it is, cracking choice of real ales that are often changed and the landlord seems enthusiastic about them. No idiots and very nice surrounding are the added bonus, the best pub in Horwich at the moment. boltonbloke - 6 Aug 2011 17:08 |
