It's OK. Really not my thing, but prices are OK, beer OK too. stymaster - 29 Apr 2011 18:51
The post below has been reported for removal as it contains factual inaccuracies , one of which is libellous, and is a blatant plug for the ex owner's venue in Cannock. The business which traded as Bar Sport in Walsall was NEVER a franchise and the current owners changed the name when re opening in February. The previous owner is spreading rumours that he has withdrawn the "licence" or "franchise" for his own reasons but that is emphatically not the case. The venue now trades as "The Pitch"and, to repeat, there is no connection with Bar Sport and there never was any franchise agreement. ThePitch - 22 Mar 2011 16:23
Bar Sport Walsall seems to have gone downhill since they were taken over. we've been drinking in there for years, since the Murray's set it up, and have had some great times. However, We were in there last week and they had broken TV's, dirty toilets and the place was empty! The new operators don't seem to careless! We heard they had lost their franchise license and have had to change name! Bar Sport Cannock is a much better sports bar venue, they have more HD & 3D TV's, they show every Premiership game live and its clean, plus they have very nice staff and the beer prices are very reasonable. alans0 - 6 Mar 2011 21:33
Bit surprised at the last post; I had a pint of Marstons on a Wednesday for £1.80. Bar currently closed, apparently they had a flood before Christmas. On telephoning them, they were adamant they'll be re opening soon. saddler - 20 Jan 2011 17:50
