| Oh... My...God!! How much has this place changed?! Had no idea somebody else had bought and refurbished it (leather sofas, neutral decor etc). Met Laura and Steve last week and had lunch (food?!! at Barnstormers?!!) Was a good meal and cheap too. The place now has a modern, clean feel to it and shouldn't attract the young/fighting crowd anymore. The new owners seem motivated to improve the place and open the evening restaurant soon. My only complaint was that there is no karaoke or quiz night, but apparently they're starting soon too. I'll be down there every Saturday watching live bands from now on.. very nice place!!! | Barnstormers is generally packed out at weekends, kareoke disco friday and saturday night, better now that Andy has told the DJ to tone down the crap rave music. Thursdays are quiz night, busy then too. Match days see this place heaving. day times during the week are dead, except lunch hours (food is served) and after work drinkers. One big screen, soon to be two, when the second is fixed. Good place to go when all the others shut as its open until 1am. anonymous - 25 Mar 2007 15:33 |
