| the bar staff are friendly enough, its just a pity that the landlady and landlord are normally to drunk to hold a conversation with thier customers.. However the pub has a great atmosphere when its not full of under age people (kids) ..They should re-name it and call it 'The local youth club' or even better 'A bottle of pop and a packet of Quavers'... jewels - 26 May 2009 14:48 |
| Family pub? Barstaff were fine, but the rest of clientele were hardly friendly. Mind you, it was Chelsea and Manchester United on Sky, and there were Leeds stickers up around the pub.... No real ale oftenscore6 - 27 Apr 2008 22:59 |

| This is the most friendly welcoming pub i have been to. (and thats quite a few!) the themed fancy dress nights are fantastic, all the regulars and newbies a like make a great effort (even the staff!) The bar itself if very well looked after by its young but always polite and friendly staff. there is always some form of entertainment on at the weekends, varying from kareoke to live music.
