| Not a nice atmosphere at all. Takes ages to get served. The bar staff give priority to people they know and can have a natter with while others are waiting. The Indian restaurant upstairs is the only reason for visiting as it's good. Have been told to avoid the food downstairs, so can't comment on that. trassca - 27 Feb 2008 10:24 |
| Burnt and undercooked food on same meal! 1 out of 10 people present totally satisfied. Slow service; sauces came well after dishes & long gap between starter & main, despite there being only one couple there apart from us. Wide menu - possibly too wide - nothing outstanding. | This pub is canny if you go in the right bit, if you just want some food and abit quiet dont go in the pool bit as its loud and busy wit charvas round there but its quiet and nice plus cheap which is a bonus and the food is good now it did used to be rank. sheel - 27 Nov 2005 18:18 |
| Shite bar, always too loud and has crap live acts on. The food is also reasonably crap, I ordered lasagne and it came out frozen! I was also doing some photography for its refurbishing company, Sanderson Contracts, and some bloke almost started on me thinking I was from the Benefit fraud place taking photos of him.
