Horrible. The sort of place you might visit once but unless you're a big fan of 'the casual violence' vibe or you enjoy unpleasantness and rudeness you wouldn't return.

I will never be visiting this pub again in a million years. It is always full of people desperate to seek a fight and the staff are very rude. Don't bother visiting this pub.

As social anthrolpologists of the highest order, this pub fascinates as it has all the makings of a classic, encapsulating social order at its most varied.

Of particular interest are the two elegant ladies who are often observed sipping from a flute of refined claret whilst discussing their latest Royal encounters. It is rumoured that none other than the Duchess of Cornwall has frequented their powder room.

"cheap pub and cheap people"? More like befuddled mortals in a cosy coterie.

Fucking horrible, probably the worst pub in Southampton, if not the whole of Hampshire, and that really is saying something. I cannot think of a single nice thing to say about this place. Avoid.

A wetherspoon pub in Shirley, Oh dear. Could things get much lower. Cheap pub and cheap people. All the local chavs etc.
