| As social anthrolpologists of the highest order, this pub fascinates as it has all the makings of a classic, encapsulating social order at its most varied. Of particular interest are the two elegant ladies who are often observed sipping from a flute of refined claret whilst discussing their latest Royal encounters. It is rumoured that none other than the Duchess of Cornwall has frequented their powder room. "cheap pub and cheap people"? More like befuddled mortals in a cosy coterie.
