Open plan with partial smoking ban in force. The staff are very friendly and efficient, the food is recommended, particularly the Xmas dinners which are booked out well in advance. The beer is a mixture of the fizzy stuff ales and stouts with a real ale option, currently Fullers. The quiz night on Sunday is always well attended. The ambience is excellent. Why only 8 out of 10, more real ale required.
