Being a punk/rock pub is different to anything else in luton town centre, which scares off most of the WKD drinking Weatherspoons intellectuals which is a good thing in Luton . Have been gfoing there for 6 months and have found it a very relaxed bar with none of the pretensious nonsense most other places in town do . First class pub

I have been to this pub tonight (02-10-07) and was amazed to be told by the bar maid that she was closing the bar at 21:30 as there were not enough customers in the pub. I later saw her embracing her boyfriend outside the pub and assume she was on a promise. I won't be visiting this pub again!!!

i viewed going for a drink in Luton town centre on a sat night with certain amount of intrepidation, was suppose to meet up my mate at Brookes (thankfully he was persuaded otherwise) Well kept ales from Greene King, a very "alternative" juke box (if punk is your thing) Deserves brownie points just for not trying to be trendy or pretentious.

A more traditional pub - a bit smoky and like stepping back in time but the atmosphere is nice. There is one toilet lock in the ladies that has been broken for years which they should really get fixed. Other than that is a nice crowd that goes in there - rockers on a Saturday and you can usually get a seat.

Very decent pub. Yes, been drinking there for years.

Always won the approval of a string of ex-girlfriends, so if our seatcovers like it, it can't be bad.

Parrot has indeed gone but the beer is always clean and sharp and, if you enjoy your music, the state of the art internet connected MP3 jukebox is dead handy.

Good solid pub. Healthy, clean minded atmosphere.

Good crowd of articulate, good natured beer worshippers, (including Luton's very own Viking).

Reputed to be quite famous in some quarters.

Best pub in Luton.
