| It was pretty quiet in here during my week night visit, but the barman was very friendly and the locals liked gossiping about people that weren’t there. The pub has Sky Sports and a pool table and, as mentioned in a previous post, there is a disco and karaoke every weekend. Greene King IPA is available alongside a standard draught selection, but unfortunately my Guinness wasn’t the best. I wasn’t impressed with this place, but it was very quiet and I could see the potential for a good craic so I think that I’ll reserve judgment until after another visit. | This is my local pub. I moved into the area with my family a year ago and I have seen this pub turn around in the last 6 months, the landlord and landlady have spent a lot of time and money making The cavendish Arms a very family orientated pub. They have regular entertainment at the weekends,disco's,live music and Kareoke. My husband hasalso joined the dart time on a Thursday night. All in all this is a fantastic pub.
