Fantastic by Wetherspoons standards. I think they had at least 8 guests on and a comprensive list of beers in the cellar and those that are racked. Very reasonable prices as well for a Wetherspoons, £1.59 for the guests, which were in good condition. Very busy on a lunchtime. Sharp - 28 Dec 2007 16:10
As Wetherspoons go this is one of the better ones to be honest - usual fare - can be plagued by the towns alkies though as just up from St peters Church. zamora250 - 7 Jul 2007 14:35
Very Smokey atmosphere but not 4 long now thankfully,a great pint of Ossett "Silver Fox" was had here though, typical good prices n decent beer,7/10 fat_beer_badger - 19 Apr 2007 12:32
A little hard to find from a distance as it does not look like a pub,not far from either the bus or railway stations, keep your eye open for a block of offices belonging to Pearl Assurance it's on the ground floor there, you can't say much about spoons that has not been said before. Usual stuff though if you like cider most of them have started selling Westons Old Rosie and Westons Organic both at £1.99 and 7.3 great value. bagheas - 4 Sep 2005 11:47
usual wide choice at sensible prices. This converted furniture showroom shows what can be done without the usual Pub Kitch. Can get very full kobylisyzizkov - 16 Jan 2005 16:28
