I couldnt find the jukebox, but to be honest my time and money would have been wasted. It was a joy to sit and enjoy the random delights that were playing.I never thought I would hear Bongwater, the theme from Rentaghost and a whole load of other songs I had forgotten about. Music aside...I cant rave enough about this place.Staff,Beer,Fishtank in the gents....all fantastic. The most individual pub in Macclesfield. I left feeling inspired and full of hope. Macc isnt that bad at all! damionmac - 5 Mar 2005 15:14
A fantastic, friendly pub with great bar staff and a good selection of beer for all tastes. Always lively and with an atmosphere at any time of the day. Also the best (only) pub for watching rugby in Macc, the world cup was indeed an awesome experience... chapmandu - 14 Feb 2005 20:27
...I mean 10 stars on the Macc scale, not 5 (see below). macc - 4 Feb 2005 11:24
This is my old local from when I was under-age. I liked it then but as with a lot of macc's pubs its nicer nowadays. Its also busier than ever but remains a chilled out traditional pub with wicked atmosphere. I would recommend that any pub crawl in Macc should begin here. 5 stars (on the Macc scale). macc - 4 Feb 2005 11:02
