Nice building... But at the end of the day, it's still a Wetherspoons.

Being that this is the case, when purchasing food from one of these Giants, to double check your cutlery to make sure that all is clean and hygienic.

I've always found that Wetherspoons always lacks 'atmopshere', and rather than feel like a pub, feels more like a warehouse with seats.

Other than that. Service is good, food (like all Wetherspoons) is poor, and all is dark and dingy.

found it better than most spoons. was on ringwood old thumper which was excellent. sunday afternoon and was busy but soon got served. good position in chichester being across from the cathedral

A traditional-looking building from the outside, with no obvious corporate branding and a prime location directly opposite the cathedral. Inside, much as you would expect except that a lighter shade of wood has been used than in many other 'spoons and thus it has a lighter feel, particularly if you get a seat near the windows. Twelve handpumps, with a couple of duplicates and two "Available Soon" but a reasonable selection of local ales including a fine pint of Arundel Castle at a very reasonable £2.15.

Rather quiet for a Saturday night - and a bit cold. That said, service was great, prices very reasonable, and a great range of drinks - as Wetherspoons always do.
Does what it says on the tin.
