quite possibly one of the worst places ive ever had to eat in, due to the Druids Pub (next door) kitchen not being opened we stumbled upon this place. the decor was hideous and it felt like being in a dodgy back street cafe. the wine tasted like malt vinegar and the food was awful. The final straw that pushed us out of the door never to return was the state of the ladies toilets there was an actual poo on the floor and tissue paper in the sinks and stuck on the wall. AWFUL winetinker - 11 Jan 2012 10:23
Good place for live music and sport. No Coka Cola brigade allowed, and never any trouble. hotmetal45 - 28 Mar 2011 19:18
Remberence Sunday morning. First pint tasted a bit like vinegar. Apologies made and a fresh pint poured (from the same damned pump). A bit better but not by much. Left the beer and went up to the Society Rooms for an excellent pint. I can't see me returning to Earls again. Paul_Rochdale - 9 Nov 2009 09:55

Known more for live music and TV sport than its beer, but the pint of John Smith's Cask that I had was better than I was expecting (but that's not saying much...). rpadam - 19 Nov 2008 22:32
