| Called in here recently about 7pm, before going to the Grand Theatre, which is just around the corner.........and went straight back out of the place. It was full of pissed people, who seemed to have been there all day, and the atmosphere was VERY nasty indeed, not a nice place at all nowdays, it seems. | Without doubt, one of the worst pubs I have ever been in. Smelt of urine a fight nearly broke out and the food was terrible. Garlic mushrooms cold, ketchup on your chips wether you wanted it or not and burnt garlic bread. I will not be going back there again in a hurry. franspaintings - 12 Apr 2010 17:53 |
| Large bright corner location JDW type pub. 3 casks on during our visit. Promotes cheap food, such as a full breakfast for £1.99. Very popular, especially for the food.
