| Not a bad pub really, I stayed about a mile away and visited the pub twice. I seriously did not expect a lot as it was serving relatively cheap beer and cheap food, I think it was trying to be a Wetherspoons type place. The Ruddles County was excellent and the staff were friendly too. The food was OK ( I mean what do you expect for the price) but it was twice as good as Wetherspoons. Only eccentric point, I ordered a starter and a main meal and both arrived at the same time, not good at all, but the meal was quite good. I would still prefer to eat here than the at Wethespoons down the road at Cheadle Hulme !!!! Greytop - 16 Apr 2011 16:40 |
| Steer well clear if you have any sense. If its a hungry horse you need try the Blue Pig in Ashton. This is a local pub for local people. Couldn't care less if it sells Stella or not, i'm not going!!!!! bluemooner22 - 28 Jan 2007 04:05 |
