| I was in here last Saturday lunchtime (20/3) and found a reasonably decent pub. (Bus driver told me the Falcon is still closed so no choice realy) There were three pumps serving real ale:- Theakstones Best, Youngs Special and Ringwoods 49er (one of my favorites) Food is reasonly priced and looked ok although I didn't try any myself. | WHILST I APPRECIATE THIS PUP HAD A BAD REP YEARS AGO I CAN ASSURE YOU THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE!! WE HAD A MEAL THERE AND NOT ONLY WAS GREAT BUT IT WAS AT A GREAT PRICE (SADLY NOT SEEN UNLESS YOU ARE IN WEATHERSPOONS WHICH IS CHEAP AND NASTY!!) WE HAD SOME LOVELY BEERS AND WINES AND THEY ALSO WERE AT A GREAT CHEAP PRICE. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS PUB VERY HIGHLY AS WE MET THE MANAGER AND HE WAS FANTASTIC WITH A GREAT KNOWLEDGE OF THE BEERS AND FOOD HE SELLS.
