| Quite a large pub in a very good location next to the Oxford canal. As a result it attracts many people from the boats in the season and can be busy. Given the potential here it is very disappointing with a feel of a Harvester about it. Real ales were uninspiring and although we have not eaten there vthe food looks OK but nothing special. If you want a pub rather than a fanmily restaurant for tourists then I would suggest The Boat a couple of hundred yards up the canal is a better bet. Brewshed - 18 Jan 2008 11:02 |
