This pub is my local but we wont go in it. Has an aggressive atmosphere, rude bar staff (not all of them)bland food, uninspiring beer collection. Very keen to throw you out on the dot and very very smokey. It does have a good patio at the back for the summer and is caters fairly well for the disabled (ramp at back, toilets). OK for under 25's but not for overs. Chad - 17 Oct 2006 20:39
The Jolly, possibly the nicest pub ever. The drinks seem to be kept a lot better than in any other pubs I've been in. Plays really great music too. Beer_Baby - 1 Feb 2005 19:10
big pub, good food including vegetarian, usually a couple of unexciting but decently kept real ales. Outside seating is on terrace overlooking carpark. Can get very smokey even in n/s area Syj - 13 Jul 2004 19:39
